Elizabeth
Biddulph was born in 1802, the second
daughter of the late Francis Biddulph Esq., Mount Oliver, Queen’s County,
and his wife Mary Steele. She was the
sister of Nicholas Biddulph, Esq., J.P., Congor House, County Tipperary,
and of Anne Wray [nee Biddulph]. Her
brothers Richard and Francis Biddulph both emigrated to Canada. She was niece to the late Sir Robert and Lady Waller
of Newport, County Tipperary.[1]
Lady Waller was also called Elizabeth Biddulph, and was her father’s sister.
Elizabeth
Biddulph died on the 14th of October 1877, aged
75, at Richmond Hill, Rathmines, Dublin.She was unmarried.
